A recent study suggests just 5 minutes of exercise could help lower blood pressure. The researchers found that replacing any less active behaviour with five minutes of vigorous exercise could help lower blood pressure.

The message here is get your heart pumping, by integrating short bursts of activity into your daily routine. It can be climbing stairs at work, parking further away from the store entrance or even jumping on your bike to cycle to get your mail......walking, jogging, cycling or swimming....whatever you do to move that body, helps your circulation, heart and blood pressure. And increasing your daily activity up to 20 minutes can reduce the risk of heart disease by a significant amount. Study in Circulation:
