Luke: Lessons From the Life of Simeon

The seventh message from the Book of Luke which highlights our response to Jesus’ Gospel. Scripture: Luke 2:21-35 Lessons from Simeon: Lesson 1: Our lives should be characterized by a longing for the coming of Jesus knowing what God has in store for us in the future. Lesson 2: We can trust the Holy Spirit to lead and direct us into encounters that fulfill His purposes. Lesson 3: As Christians, we need to live with an eternal perspective remembering that our true citizenship lies in heaven. Lesson 4: We should never forget that Jesus’ offer of salvation is universal. Lesson 5: There is no neutrality in following Jesus. However, we need to be wise and sensitive in how we present Him to others.
