Fascinating stories, amazing delivery

I often enjoy flipping through old Mac magazines to learn more about the history of modern computing - the early days of the Mac were incredibly influential on how we all use technology every day - and now, hey, I don’t have to! Thanks to Derek I can hear these fascinating old tales in the car or on my bike. Also his voice is nothing short of mellifluous - does he do voiceover work for NPR (or the Canadian equivalent) as his day job? Great stuff.

Longtime Listener Back for More!

I was a suscriber way back in the day when Derek read through the MacFolklore.org website. That was good enough to keep me listening, but this latest incarnation is far better, digging up stories from here and there which are harder to collect on one's own. For anyone interested in computer history, this is your podcast.

Why Did Apple Kill Newton?

Mac Folklore Radio has always been a fun and interesting listen. But Derek has outdone himself with this episode. Well researched and with lots of relevant clips from old interviews, this is the most complete history of the rise and fall of the Newton that I have ever heard. Well don!
