Originally hailing from the heart of the Midwest, Anthony’s story began with a suitcase and a dream, leading him to the bustling streets of the Big Apple. In New York City, he pursued his education and ventured abroad, immersing himself in diverse cultures.



His path took an inspiring turn when he embarked on an internship at Nelson Mandela University in South Africa, igniting a passion for international engagement and service. This pivotal experience led him to join the United States Peace Corps for a transformative two-year commitment. Despite facing unforeseen challenges, including an abrupt return amid a global pandemic, he remained resilient.



Undeterred by setbacks, Anthony seized the opportunity to enroll in a TEFL program through the International TEFL Academy in Istanbul, Turkey. Over the course of three years and across two continents, he honed his craft in teaching English as a foreign language.



Now, Anthony finds himself in the vibrant city of Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon, embracing the bustling energy and rich culture of Southeast Asia. As he continues his journey, he inspires others with his unwavering dedication to education and remarkable ability to turn dreams into reality.

From the neon-lit avenues of Japan to the charming alleyways of South Korea and Thailand, Celi continues to share her love for language and culture with students. When she's not teaching young minds, you can find her chasing trails, capturing moments through her lens, or whipping up delectable treats in the oven. 

With a passport filled with stamps from 12 different countries and 4 different continents, Celi's wanderlust is never-ending. While she’s fallen over-heels for Asia, she's always up for the next adventure!

Welcome to Season 2 Episode 10 of your fave travel podcast featuring Allyson Kim. Allyson was just an average midwestern girl on the outside but on the inside she dreamed of living a global life. That led her to leave the comfort of her family and friends and travel around the world. Her journey started when she decided to study abroad in Australia. Once she stepped foot ‘down under’ she got bit by the travel bug (thankfully that and not a spider or snake). After her time in Australia, Allyson realized that this time in her life (her early 20’s) was the best time to accomplish some of her wildest dreams. That led her to packing up her life in two suitcases (again) and blindly moving to South Korea to be an English teacher. After spending a year in Seoul, Allyson decided to tackle dream number two. She headed to the airport once again with her two suitcases and moved her life to Paris, France. Episode 9 features Brittany who grew up in a small town in small Vermont (yes, it’s a state 😜) to a big move to Florida for college. Got a big-girl environmental government job directly post graduation and decided she wasn’t quite ready to settle down in life yet. Brittany quit to move to Spain for “6 months” without ever having been here or speaking Spanish, and never looked back… well, she has thought about going back, but she’s still here! Episode 8 features Miguel- a Kentucky native who decided to see the world and live on his own terms. Miguel has traveled to 22 countries, lived in 4 Cambodia, Turkey, Croatia, and France. Cambodia was such an amazing and life changing experience. Cambodia will forever and always hold a special place in Miguel’s heart. He’s never experienced so much genuine love, compassion, and overall happiness in any other country. Being a flight attendant was definitely an incredible experience from the best to worst crews, passengers, and free mini paid vacations while working. Who knows? Maybe once he retires his global citizenship, Miguel might dust his wings off and continue keeping the friendly skies friendly.
