Chris Bodnar is the Chief Executive Officer of Prescriptive Capital, a private equity company focused on investing in limited partner and general partner positions in healthcare, life sciences and senior housing real estate.
Prior to founding Prescriptive Capital, Chris served as Vice Chairman of the U.S. Healthcare & Life Sciences Capital Markets at CBRE, a Fortune 150 company. At the time, Chris was the youngest investment advisor to be appointed to Vice Chairman in the company’s history and one of the first to start a national practice focused exclusively alternative real estate assets. Over the course of his career, he has advised on thousands of transactions totaling more than $20 billion in value.
He serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of the publication Healthcare Real Estate Insights, is on the ULI Healthcare and Life Sciences council, and is the Chair Emeritus of the Building Owners & Management Association (BOMA) Medical Office & Healthcare Real Estate Conference. In 2013, Healthcare Real Estate Insights selected Chris as their Healthcare Executive of the Year as part of their annual HREI Insights Awards. Chris has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Real Estate from the University of Colorado Boulder – Leeds School of Business.
