Managing Patient Expectations

UNFILTERED podcast

Welcome back to another episode of the UNFILTERED podcast, brought to you by the licensed, experienced, and certified medical aesthetic experts of ANEU Med Spa.

In this month’s episode, we keep it intimate as Amie and I discuss the challenges and realities of managing patient expectations in depth.

This episode was entertaining to listen to, as we could see and share the two perspectives from the provider and consumer viewpoints. We talk about the perceived convenience of ordering skincare from Amazon or purchasing from your local Walgreens or Sephora and how patients need to realize that these products are not giving them the results they want, or they would not be sitting in our clinic. Amie shares hesitations about her boldness while navigating educating patients, sometimes until she is blue in the face.

The reality is that ANEU Med Spa is here to educate, first and foremost. Within an unregulated industry, the #dreamteam is primarily concerned with ensuring patient safety, establishing high standards of care, and providing realistic and beautiful results from real people (not edited or filtered photos).

Take a listen to this episode, and let us know what you think!
