As a fairly new foster parent, I have found this podcast to be so very helpful. It’s reminded me why I began this journey - even on the hardest of days. It’s given me a few gut checks along the way too. Additionally, I love that I can point those supporting us to this podcast to further educate themselves as well. I highly recommend!

Mandy has done an incredible job of choosing interesting guests and topics related to foster care in this podcast. As a former foster parent myself, I can appreciate the way this podcast brings out the good, the bad, and the beautiful mess that comes when we become intertwined in the lives and stories of those in “the system.” Each episode pulls me in, and I look forward to hearing more!
