    🇬🇧Interview with Darren Heath - photographer who shoots F1 for more than 30 years 🇬🇧

    In this episode I will have the honor to talk to Darren Heath. I guess he does not need any long introduction. Darren is a multi award winning photographer, shooting F1. In 2005 The Royal Photographic Society awarded Darren their prestigious Honorary Fellowship as recognition of his excellence and evidence of distinguished ability in his chosen field. If you read the caption on his instagram profile, it just sums it up all: "32nd yr shooting F1 in a creative, artistic, original & unique style that’s changed the photographic perception of the sport". That's exactly what it is going to be all about. All about F1, all about the ability to shoot in a different artistic way even though he has been in all the tracks multiple times, about how the photography has changed over the years he has been in the business, about he business side of the photography and many other topics. I believe we could talk for hours and it would still not be enough. Enjoy!

    🇨🇿 Rozhovor s Honzou Kaslem - fotografem akčních sportů 🇨🇿

    S Honzou Kaslem si jako obvykle budeme povídat o všem možném a především pak o sportovní fotce 📸😉 O Honzových začátcích ve fotce, kdy se jako spousta předchozích hostů přesunul z pozice aktivního sportovce do role fotografa sportu. U něj však nešlo o zranění, které by ho donutilo postavit se za foťák, ale podle jeho slov spíše o nedostatek talentu. Od té doby uplynulo spoustu času a zdá se, že stoupnout si za foťák nebyl tak špatný nápad 😉 Budeme se bavit o tom, jak procestoval téměř celý svět, jak falšoval omluvenky, jak jej okradli, jak se fotí pod vodou, za polárním kruhem a na jiných extrémních místech, o spolupráci s Redbullem a o spoustě dalších věcí!     🇬🇧Interview with Lorenz Holder - extreme sports photographer and multiple Red Bull Illume winner 🇬🇧

    In this episode I will be talking to Lorenz Holder, Germany based sports photogapher. When it comes to creativity in the sports photography I guess it just cant get any better than this 📸 Even though I know his photos, when I saw the selection he sent me to use in this post, I was really impressed 🙌🏼 If you check all the category and overall winners of the Redbull Illume since 2013, you will find his name being mentioned 9 times. 2xcategory and overall win in 2013, 2xcategory, overall win and athlete choice in 2016 and 2x category win in 2019. You probably all know the Riding Throne project where he followed the locations from the Game of Thrones and the result was just 😲👌🏼 There are many things that we will go through from his beginnings in photography, about his approach to sports photography - "In my photos I like to show the viewers a different angle, something they normally wouldn’t notice, even if they were there at the scene", about the creative process, the business side of his photography, obviously about Redbull Illume and much more.     🇨🇿 Rozhovor s Bárou Reichovou - fotografkou Českého olympijského týmu 🇨🇿

    V této, v pořadí už deváté (páté české), epizodě, si budu budu podívat se sportovní fotografkou Bárou Reichovou. Fotografkou, která od mala snila o tom, že bude fotit sport a to se ji nakonec splnilo. Dvanáct let byla součástí Deníku Sport (+3 další roky s Deníkem spolupracovala), účastnila se 4 olympijských her, fotila několik zápasů NHL, NBA, Mistrovství Evropy ve fotbale, MS v hokeji, biatlonu, atd, atd a samozřejmě stovky každodenních sportovních akcí. Získala ocenění v rámci Czech Press Photo či Sportovní Fotografie roku. Na začátku dubna letošního roku Deník Sport opustila a stala se fortografkou Českého olympijského týmu. Na své páte hry si však bude muset minimálně rok počkat. Přeji příjemný poslech.

    🇺🇸 Interview with Larry Chen - cars and motorsports photographer 🇺🇸

    In this is episode I am gonna be talking to Larry Chen. I guess there is no introduction needed as anyone who is a bit into automotive industry knows Larry’s photos. I always try to say few sentences about what the photographer, who I am gonna do the interview with, does, but in here it is just impossible to explain it in only few words. I guess I would end up with an extremely long list and would forget to mention several things anyway. So if you want to have an idea, just go to his website larrychenphoto.com and check his impressive portfolio. If there was anything to mention it would probably be: Formula Drift Series, Hoonigans, Pikes Peak, Speedhunters and basically anything related to cars in US and all over the world. I am gonna be talking with Larry about how he started with photography, which is quite interesting as well as he was a Paparazzi photographer at first, what it took to get to the point where is right now - he said it took him about 5 years to get to the point where he actually started to make some money out of cars photography. We will talk through his workflow at different events, how he manages to work with several remote cameras, how he keeps himself fresh in terms of ideas and last but not least about the business and marketing side of photography.     🇨🇿 Rozhovor s Martinem Kozákem - profesionálem, který se focením neživí🇨🇿

    V dnešním rozhovoru si budu povídat s jedním z nejpovolanějších fotografů v ČR - s Martinem Kozákem. Martin je vítěz několika fotografických cen, autor knihy Velká sportovní fotografie, fotograf, který má za sebou focení na stovkách akci a přesto se focením neživí. Vzhledem k tomu, že se nejedná o jeho business, má ve focení volnost a dle mého i potřebný nadhled, aby dokázal zhodnotit sportovní fotku jako řemeslo. Budeme si povídat o rozdílu mezi focením “pro sebe” a focením na zakázku. O tom, proč se nikdy nezačal živit jen focením, kde brát inspiraci a nezabřednout do stereotypu, jaké je jeho workflow při sportovních eventech, jak má správně vypadat fotoreport a spoustě dalších věcí.     🇺🇸Interview with Jamey Price - motorsports photographer from North Carolina🇺🇸

    Today I will be talking to my collegue from motorsports photography industry ,to Jamey Price, who is based North Carolina. Jamey has been in the bussiness for about 10-11 years, shooting all the major motorsports events in the US, but also covering some races of F1 all over the world. He was recently named Motorsport Photographer by the National Motorsports Press Association. Jamey currently does freelance work supplying racing and marketing content to some of the most respected automotive brands, photographers, agencies and racing teams across the world. We will be talking about his beginnings, about his workflow before and during the events, how he promotes himself and lot of under stuff. Enjoy!

    🇨🇿 Rozhovor se Štěpánem Černým - fotografem české fotbalové reprezentace🇨🇿

    Hostem této epizody je fotograf Štěpán Černý, který je fotografem české fotbalové reprezentace, věnuje se focení zápasů MMA a taktéž tvoří reporty ze zápasů hokejové Sparty. Když zrovna nefotí sport, tak fotí téměř vše ostatní od portrétů, přes svatby po krajiny a foťák má pořád po ruce. Budeme si povídat o tom, jak se k focení dostal, o tom jak několik let pracoval v Deníku Sport a následně přešel na volnou nohu. O tom, jak se dostal k České reprezentaci, proč fotí, pro mě docela netradičně, s Fujifilmem, jakou pozici má v jeho karíeře instagram a taky o spoustě dalších zajímavých věcech, které byste si určitě neměli nechat uniknout.     🇬🇧Interview with Jaanus Ree - one of the leading WRC photographers 🇬🇧

    In this episode I will talking to Jaanus Ree from Estonie , who has been one of the leading WRC photographers, covering all the events for about 7 years, working for Redbull and the WRC promoter. We will be talking a lot about WRC, Jaanus is well known for the amount of equipment he uses. You usually meet him with 3-4 remote cameras that are set on tripods and poles all around the place, with some additional flashes. We will be talking about his workflow both before and during the events. We will also go through his beginnings as he studied photography and when he started to shoot windsurfing at first. We will talk also about the business side of photography - means what he does to promote himself, how he approaches clients, etc … so let's go and listen to it, hope you will enjoy it!

    🇨🇿Rozhovor s Michalem Červeným - fotografem závodů horských kol🇨🇿

    V této epizodě si budu povídat s Michalem Červeným, sportovním fotografem, který se věnuje především focení závodů horských kol. Už několik let objíždí závody světového poháru, dvakrát byl na olympiádě, spolupracuje s předními sportovci, týmy, výrobci kol a mezinárodní cyklistickou federací. V roce 2016 vyhrál prestižní fotografickou soutěž Czech Press Photo a dvakrát taktéž zvítězil v soutěži Sportovní fotka roku (2017 a 2019. Mimo závody kol fotí např taktéž triatlon, lyžování, občas i reklamní fotky aut a spoustu dalšího. S Michalem proberem spoustu věcí od jeho začátků, až po účast na olympiádě. O tom, jak má vypadat správný fotoreport, o tom jakým způsobem se na závody připravuje, jeho workflow a taky o tom, jak hledat motivaci a inspiraci, když člověk fotí dokola na stejných místech a samozřejmě se budeme věnovat spoustě dalších témat, nejen kolem focení.     In this first english episode I will be talking to Sebas Romero - @Iammrshit (instagram nickname). A photographer who has been in the business for about 25 years. Sebas is working with the biggest brands in the industry such as Nike, Adidas, KTM, Yamaha, etc, had shooting with athletes like Neymar, Dani Alves, Gareth Bale and many others. We will go through his whole career: He was born in South America and then moved to Barcelona where he used to do anything just to make some money for living. From playing guitar on the streets to shoot for international companies - that's the story we will talk about. Sebas will talk about his inspiration, experience in the business, the community of creative people that they put together, about the big shootings, clients, etc. Definitely an episode you do not want to miss.

    V této epizodě si budu povídat s Danem, který patří nejen k české, ale především ke světové špičce ve sportovní a reklamní fotografii. Probereme jeho začátky, studium fotky na vysoké škole, proces vytváření jednotlivých focení, jak se dostal k focení pro Redbull a jiné velké klienty, jaké to je fotit velké reklamní zakázky nebo také o tom, jak vyrazil na "zkušenou" do USA. Všechny rozhovory probíhají na instagram LIVE a proto, prosím, omluvte nedokonalé audio. Každopádně snad to nebude překážka v tom, abyste si podcast poslechli, neboť je plný skvělých informací.
