I followed this case from the beginning. Something happened to her, not by choice and why law enforcement didn't get more involved in the beginning is still so shocking. I'd love to know more about how your family actually lived their life during this time? How did you work? How did you fall in love? How did you go on with your day today because I can hear it in your voices that she was with you every day. I can almost imagine each of you that the minute you experienced a happy moment might have turned it into a sad moment because you thought instantly oh no, Maura is never going to be able to experience something like this. Please keep podcasting. Please keep talking about her. Please keep telling us your stories from the years of searching. Maura"s name is known far and wide. Let's keep it this way till she's found.
For Education and Understanding, not for Entertainment

This is another rare gem of a podcast that everyone working in the “True Crime” genre and everyone that is interested in true crime should listen to. Crime is real and it affects not only the victim, but the victim’s family, friends, co-workers, etc, with a ripple effect that lasts forever. Julie is a “Shero” for doing this podcast. Prayers to ya’ll.
Family Perspective

Several years ago I lheard my first true crime podcast. I quickly realize that the true crime genre was not for me because so many of the stories were guised as wanting to help but seemed exploitative and I couldn't help but wonder what the families thought or felt. One of the few that I listen to during this time was Maura's story. I found that there were things in the podcast that didn't make sense to be included or there were things that were reported that didn't seem quite right to me. I found her sister's Tik Tok page later and started following her. I don't want to say that I enjoyed the podcast because it sounds terrible to say. Someone else is pain should never be my entertainment . I did find that it was well done and I think more importantly it illustrated how out of context facts were twisted and used. I also found that many of the questions that I had were answered during this podcast and made perfect sense. I hope that you will get your answers sooner rather than later.
Evokes tremendous empathy

This podcast is so authentic as it is the family speaking about their experience. I am hugely interested in true crime but I am extremely selective about what I will listen to as I don’t want to support voyeurism or sensationalism. This podcast reminds us of the human beings at the heart of the story, for whom we should feel nothing but empathy. I haven’t heard about the negativity slung at the family through the years, but just the thought is utterly despicable. My heart goes out to the family and I hope you will get the answers you need to find peace.
