I was on one of my favorite newspapers – The Guardian – and I saw Media Talk, being a journalist I immediately hit the link and listened to the most recent podcast and I was hooked. It was really fun to listen to some of the most renowned media players talk about the future of media and discuss current media issues. Content Cartel was my absolute favorite. As someone who has applied to the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism (Still waiting to find out if I got in, but will know by March 4th), I'm finding these podcasts to be even more interesting. They are done really well and I enjoy that they are in depth and last longer than a few minutes like most others. This and "On The Media" by NPR are my favorite podcasts. Thanks for putting these together.

This is sort of a nich podcast that looks at a subset of the themes shaping the US media. However, while it may be a specialized podcast, it is broad enough and well produced so that most people should be able to enjoy it. I must say that I thoroughly enjoy this podcast and wish it was on weekly rather than monthly.
