The inspiration comes from a group of farmers in the Southern Cape who pioneered the method in South Africa, effectively changing 'desert' into valuable agricultural land. The principles of conservation farming is to work adjacent to nature rather than rigidly trying to control and manipulate it. He’s not afraid to push boundaries, from cultivating various cash crops to dabbling in cover crops and even experimenting with the likes of cilantro.     Minimal mechanical soil disturbance
