Mental Detox The Dr. Sylvia K Show

    • Mental Health

Hi there!
I’m back with a new podcast season and brief episode to kick off January.
In episode 18, on The Dr. Sylvia K Show Podcast, I talk about utilizing your value system to help you create new behaviors that will support both a mental and physical detox.
For me , values, refer to what’s most important to you in your life right now.
When you start to use your own personal values as guide posts for decision-making you can realign your physical, mental, and emotional health with what matters most to you.
There is no universal formula. Everyone is unique —so your values are personal to you.
I invite you to ask yourself what is most important in your life right now in the following categories:
Mental health Physical health Social well-being Emotional well-being Spirituality If you are participating in dry Jan, I encourage you to continue utilizing your core values to support the discipline that is needed to stay alcohol free.
Some of the benefits that I’ve noticed in the first week of staying alcohol free are :
Improved sleep - less restlessness More energy -less tired in the morning Improved mood- Less moody at night Better digestion - less bloated More clarity and focus with personal projects Follow me on Instagram for daily stories and join my 21 day meditation challenge this month via IG live @drsylviak https://www.instagram.com/drsylviak/
