    How Our Breath Shapes Everything ( & CPTSD Diagnosis)

    She’s back! After a few months of deep diving in to enquiry of the self and what the shell is going on with me, I’ve finally been diagnosed with Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder which is explaining EVERYTHING. Especially drawing huge attention to the breath and my brain function!     Siren Photoshoot: Mulberry Harbour Shipwreck

    What a beautiful and spontaneous shoot this was! I've been wanting to create more photos and video shorts for a while, and this week was the perfect chance to do so. So with my best friend, we packed up our camping gear and headed ot the coast. Even more exciting, the shoot was in a shipwreck, that was so easy to play around in at low tide!     Is How We Spend Our Human Days…What We Really Want?

    From being injured and not performing or working, it’s truly giving me time to think…are 9-5pm type shifts really what we want? Why are we working hour long shifts in places, just because we ‘have’ to? Merfolk are wild beings by nature, no doubt about it. What if we could create the life we want, by changing our narrative? Is it easier said than done, or is it that we’ve been taught not to move around, that we need to have a grotto full of thingamabobs to be happy?

    First Pool Swim of 2024

    A slow, calm evening podcast for you. Well, what an hour of bliss I had to myself! AND ON SUMMER SOLSTICE! Which I completely forgot. Either way! It's rare you can find a pool you can swim in and record yourself in. The only downfall is you HAVE to hire the entire lane and that's NOT cheap. I decided to treat myself with the last little bit of money I had this month and get myself in the pool, just me myself and I. I tuned into my breathing, stretched and got in prepped ands relaxed. I was interestingly anxious before in the changing rooms, and I'm wondering if perhaps for no reason, I had performance anxiety! Do you ever get this? But tapping in, it all worked out beautifully and I felt refreshed as you can be in an enormous chlorinated pool!     MerMay Day 2: MerMay Your Way

    🔥🌸 HAPPY BELTAIN! HAPPY MERMAY 2024! 🧜‍♀️🔥 I’ve been toying with the idea of being creative and expressing truth through the colourful art of speech for this month, and why I suddenly felt imposter syndrome in doing so. MerMay is an awesome month where everyday illustrators across the globe draw merfolk daily! Now I know about it, think it’s a gorgeous project and challenge and sending everyone lots of creative and passionate energy and can’t wait to see what everyone creates. There are lots of ‘daily challenges’ popping up for MerMay and it’s so beautiful to see. For me? I think it may be through podcasting, gentle dance, editing a mer picture or video or sharing something everyday from the heart. What forms of creativity makes your soul soar?
