BARBARELLA RN ,

love this podcast

oh thank you thank you Christina and Jamie, i really appreciate your raw honesty about how you are living your lives, the messy is there, and it allows me to show my messy, without just a smidge less guilt and shame. holding up a “normal” face to put everyone else at ease is exhausting . listening to your conversations is just a relief, love this and love you.

Great podcast!

Such a great podcast! 10 years diagnosed (I was 42) by a neuro-ophthalmologist. I can relate to so much to your conversations - ‘friends’ who don’t get it and don’t care to, gi issues due to allergies (it’s like I gain a new allergy every few months), I have a neuromodulator - so my brain and bladder can talk (pain and failure of bladder), & the nerve and bone pain. My husband says I need an off button for my body to know that it needs to stop before I overdue it. You feel so good so you push through and then you are down for days. It’s hard not to feel like a burden. Keep up the conversation, please!

Being old with MS

I’m a 78 year old woman with ms - I’ve had it it for over 20 years. Your program is a breath of fresh air. There is such a lack of honesty about illness that if you feel crappy you think you’re the only one. It’s so nice that you tell it like it is. MS is an unpredictable mean disease. It changes your life but somehow as time goes on you learn to live with your limitations, not happily but just it is what it is . As I have grown older people get diseases and die. I am one of the lucky ones; last year I went to my granddaughters college graduation. Your program lifts spirits in ways you probably don’t know . Thanks for the laughter and tears- Ellen Bobrow
