The Southern Boarder Wall

Very good job on this podcast. You’ve made the excellent case of why we need the Boarder Wall constructed. I don’t think this was your intention however, as you state that if it wasn’t for U.S. policies in place, none of this would be occurring, and a wall would not be needed. I fail to see logic in that argument, ESPECIALLY AFTER YOU DEMONSTRATE HOW CORRUPT THE MEXICAN GOVERNMENT IS AND HAS BEEN!

Can’t help but talk about the idiot and his “boarder wall” review. He probably thinks it’s for people boarding planes or that the wall is simply made of boards. Lol he probably has 5 kids, while smart people have problems conceiving… hence the evolution of stupidity in this country. P.s. dummy, if Americans didn’t do so many drugs, we wouldn’t have so many problems. Most of the drugs in America aren’t coming across the land BORDERS. They’re coming across the BORDER crossing points in trucks and couriers.
Lacking integrity

Decent, yet corrupt. This is biased reporting when you attack leaders and their efforts. Lost all respect for Vice news. Keep your opinions to yourself.
American hypocrisy

This podcast is very well done. The only issue I had listening to it, was the way America’s culpability in the “war on drugs” was just glossed over, like it is in virtually everything written or filmed about prohibition. The US can STOP the bloodshed and marginalization of so many South American countries and their citizens by just finally admitting the drug war is a complete and total failure!
Loved this podcast

I especially liked the on the ground reporting in Sinaloa, interviews with poppy farmer & people living in Narco territory. It gave a richness to the reporting often missed by other accounts.
Good not great

I appreciate the work and information brought to light from the world of Chapo. I felt like at times you guys reflected Chapo as better than he was or that blame should be elsewhere.
Waste of American taxpayer money
2020. 10. 24.
The southern American border wall is a terrible waste of taxpayer money because the smugglers go anywhere but through this area! As El Chapo was catapulted to notoriety by using tunnels and submarines! War on drugs will never end because this is all derived from the dirt that God has provided for medical reasons and has been used for the worse!
Excellent production

And writing! Makes the story easy to dive into even though its a massive tale
Fresh and Insightful!

Incredibly interesting look into the individuals at the heart of the “drug war” and the folks most influenced by it. Very immersive and insightful, and very human— especially instances where Mexicans on all sides are interviewed first hand on their experiences, whether they are a part of the drug-trafficking process or unwilling participants.
A phenomenal account of El Chapo

I loved the pace of this podcast. I felt like every detail was structured in a precise way to tell the story, every episode carried to the next and I never once felt like I was missing something. The story is insane and leave it to Vice to create such a great storytelling even through a media like Podcast. Just brilliant! Would love to hear more podcasts like this from Vice.
