Milk Trails: A Journey In The Out-Of-Hospital Birth Experience
Milk Trails is a podcast dedicated to the out-of-hospital birth experience. Sharing stories can help reduce fear and misunderstanding around childbirth. In each episode, I interview home birth and birth center folks about their experiences including the choices they made leading them to an out-of-hospital birth, how they prepared, fears they worked through and of course how the birth went. By exploring birth in settings that allow birthing people to feel safe and that support the un-medicated birth process can help illustrate the scope of what ‘normal’ birth can look like – which can educate and empower expectant families during their birth experience whether at home, birth center or hospital.

The gentle wisdom in each episode of this podcast is helping me process my unexpected hospital birth more positively. Hearing other women speak about the mysteries and challenges of labor and motherhood is giving me the courage to remain open-hearted and hopeful about giving birth in the future.

These episodes are beautiful and powerful! Audio quality is really poor sometimes however and difficult to hear or understand what the speaker is saying.
