I stumbled on this podcast thinking “cool, a political discussion that discusses local politics”. What I actually found is a podcast furthering one political party, with a so-called “conservative” praising liberal policies. No good arguments were made or differing points of view, just disgust at conservatives while praising liberalism.

This podcast is amazing if you want to cut through the white noise of national politics. If you live in Michigan and like politics you should be listening to this. I’ve learned a lot since I started listening back in July of 2021 and I’m really looking forward to what their local election coverage looks like as 2022 heats up. I already know way more about local elections then I’d ever get from reading mlive or metro Detroit local news. The audio quality and editing is kind of whack sometimes (why don’t the episode descriptions reflect the chronological order of what’s going on?) but even the NYT The Daily messes that stuff up every now and then. So it just kind of adds to this authentic quality. I only wish I could figure out how to get their newsletter 5/5 rant over
