I look forward to this podcast every week! It’s funny and informative. I appreciate the rotating panelists, as it adds different perspectives and options.

This is a revised review. POD used to be quite good. Has suffered. Spanners is useless on his own, and increasingly is irritating in group with his infantile commentary. Trumpets is Mr Condescension, also irritating as his true knowledge base is much more limited than he admits. Other members of the “group” are tolerable to enjoyable, with the exception of the tic tok idiots. I used to really enjoy this pod, but would now recommend to F1 newbies only. With the exception of Joe Saward, who is the crusty master, and my only good reason to continue here.
The BEST F1 Pod

The title says it all. It’s the best F1 podcast and it’s only been getting better over the years I’ve been listening. Podcast is always up quick and with amazing production value. Seriously. The sound quality is always so consistently good that it makes me wonder why some other well funded (ie not independent) podcasts don’t have better production quality. Speaking on that, why I trust Missed Apex. They are independent. So many other podcasts are funded by big groups. That’s not to say that makes other pods implicitly shady or anything, but you never know for sure if a narrative from up top is being pushed. All the narratives here are their own, and best of all they admit that. Bias is a real thing than everyone has and Missed Apex is unabashedly honest about whatever biases they may have. You’re never left wondering what their real stance is on something which is refreshing. I don’t always agree with all their takes and that’s okay. It’s like listening to a good discussion amongst friends about F1. Even more so now there are some big guests. Give em a listen. I find it always worth it. Looking forward to listening to Missed Apex far into the future.
This one is just okay

Honestly, I’ve been listening to this podcast for a few years alongside other F1 podcasts and this one ranks last amongst the others. It has good information and I really like most of the peoples’ perspectives on the drivers and the sport but unfortunately it has gotten harder to listen to lately. Whenever Antonia joins I want to hear her speak and lately she just gets talked over or dismissed or they poke fun at her for being young and an upcoming talent. The most recent episode with her was so hard to listen to because I kept wanting to scream at the hosts-I don’t know how she puts up with honestly. Wouldn’t recommend this podcast to people anymore but I’ve left it as 3 stars because it’s tolerable and still informative.
