S2 Ep5 - The Posture of Good Partnership: Greater Together

Mission Shift Podcast

Season 2, Episode 5: The Posture of Good Partnership: Greater Together

Coming out of Season 1 of Mission Shift, we were left with a nagging question: In this new era of missions–when mission engagement is from everywhere to everywhere–how do we in the West partner well with believers in locations traditionally labeled as mission fields?

Once again, we set out to learn from missions leaders and practitioners from all over the globe. We interviewed 22 men and women engaged in sending and receiving missions to learn about partnership and power dynamics in global missions. Their voices are intertwined across the 8 episodes of this season as–together–we learn and grow.

In this episode, we continue our journey learning around this topic of power and partnership in global missions. We’ll hear from Chong Hiok Chan (Singapore), Layo Leiva (Singapore), Andy McCullough (UK), Forrest Inslee (USA), Greg & Charmaine Lillestrand (USA), Sophia Wang (USA), and Barry Rempel (USA) as we learn about the powerful and enjoyable outcome of good partnership.

Bios and links for our hosts and guests can be found at Cru.org/MissionShift.

Mission Shift is a narrative podcast, so we encourage you to listen to each season in order so you catch the full range of voices and wisdom, of encouragement and growth, as we listen to missions leaders and practitioners from around the world.
