She shares how surviving this near-death experience as a child became a pivotal turning point in her life.In the wake of the accident, Jess turned to alcohol as a coping mechanism for her PTSD post the car accident. She candidly discusses how this habit became a destructive force in her life, shaping her identity as a 'party girl' and leading her down a challenging path.Jess talks about the impact of a tumultuous seven-year relationship in her early 20s, which affected her self-esteem and sense of reality. She shares how she began to recognise patterns of abuse and the moment of clarity that led her to leave.
