Mom Guilt Be Gone: Lindsey Hein on Life, Motherhood and Podcasting Worth Your Time

    • Society & Culture

For the first episode of “Worth Your Time,” I speak with my sister, Lindsey Hein — host of the “I’ll Have Another” podcast. We talk about all things podcasting, motherhood, entrepreneurship and a few non-traditional philosophies Lindsey has about life.
“I don’t believe in mom guilt.” — Lindsey Hein, entrepreneur mother of 4 boys ages 6 and under
This episode will be especially notable to those interested in the podcasting world — but also for moms trying to live their dreams and balance those out with babies, husbands, social lives and a little trash TV watching too.
It’s important that your kids don’t define your entire identity — and that you put one foot in front of the other when it comes to accomplishing what’s on your heart. In the chaos of toddlerhood and the sweetness of mothering, we are still women with a lot of soul and passion. Not everyone chooses to live out more professional goals when their kids are small — and that’s okay — but Lindsey is doing that and it’s incredibly fulfilling for her. With a supportive husband and a lot of hustle, she’s living the life she created and is dreaming big for what’s to come — as a mom and an entrepreneur with a podcast that’s actually making her a living.

Here are a few of the things we mentioned in the episode:

* I’ll Have Another with Lindsey Hein
* The Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey
* The Popcast with Knox and Jamie
* Jon Acuff
* That Sounds Fun with Annie Downs
* No Limits with Rebecca Jarvis
* The Goal Digger
* Imperfect Courage by Jessica Honneger
* Pretty Little Liars TV Show

Thanks for tuning into the very first episode of the “Worth Your Time” podcast! I’m sure I have a lot of learning to do in terms of interviewing, editing, style, topics, etc. but I hope you will stick with me as I learn and grow. I started this podcast as a passion project and hope that’s exactly how it feels when you listen.
