My ambition is to get you to take action and move towards the life you want. We all have goals, and most of us want to be further along in life than we are currently. Whether you want to get in the best shape of your life, build a business, start a podcast, learn a new skill, or accomplish anything of substance, there's one thing you'll definitely need: Momentum.

Different roadblocks keep us from getting where we want to go. For some, it's fear and insecurities. For others, it's plain laziness. Whatever the underlying issue is, almost anything can be overcome by generating a bit of momentum. Small actions repeated consistently lead to big changes.

You're capable of making the changes you want to make. Whether you've set a plan a thousand times and given up every time, or you're just preparing to take a step towards a goal for the first time, you just need to learn how to build and sustain momentum.

That's what I'm here for - each episode of this podcast, either myself or a guest will share insights on how to maximize your life and potential. I'll be interviewing some of the greatest minds in the world - from athletes, entrepreneurs, coaches, artists, psychologists, and more.

Thank you so much for tuning in, and let's build some Momentum!

Losing 160 Pounds, Keeping Momentum, and "75 Hard" with Bishoi Khella

    Today's guest is Bishoi Khella.
Bishoi amassed quite the following on TikTok after his incredible 160 pound weight loss journey went viral.
In 2021, he was north of 350 pounds. Today, he sits at 180 pounds (absolutely jacked) at 10.7% body fat.
Bishoi and I chatted about his journey, what prompted this massive transformation, and what allowed this change to be different (what made it last).
We also talked about how he sustains momentum despite life changes and distractions like vacation or busy work seasons, the exact plan he followed to lose 160 pounds, his business, and much more.
All in, I thoroughly enjoyed this chat and it was fascinating to get to speak to someone who's made such extraordinary changes - and more importantly, sustained them.
You can connect with Bishoi on TikTok here.

Staying in Shape on Vacation: Actual Tactics to Enjoy Your Trip Without Setting Yourself Back

Staying in Shape on Vacation: Actual Tactics to Enjoy Your Trip Without Setting Yourself Back

It's easy to go down the thought process of "Vacation is coming up. I only have two choices: 1. Enjoy myself & eat / drink whatever I want, or 2. Be disciplined & stay in shape, but not have any fun."
In this episode, I talk a bit about how reframing the way we think about vacations can be useful (and make vacations more enjoyable). I also give direct tactics that you can apply to make staying in shape on vacation much easier.
There is a whole segment on alcohol & how to still enjoy your trip without setting yourself way back (hint: 15 Mai Tais is probably a bad idea).
Vacations should be a net positive when it's all said and done, and if we can find a way to go, relax, and come back recharged without feeling like we set ourselves back on progress, that's the way to go.
    Enjoy!

Enlightening

With Steven’s podcasts, the focus on action resonates most with me. For too long, we’ve bought into the fallacy that knowledge is power. Today we have access to a ridiculous amount of information, yet we’re still miserable. Because most of us fail to act. Steven and his guests focus on practical ways to put knowledge into play to achieve incredible things, whether it’s becoming a high-performance athlete, an entrepreneur, or for our personal development. Steven’s openness and his pursuit to constantly improve make for an enlightening and entertaining podcast. Looking forward to what rolls out each week!

Inspiring and relatable

Steve is doing a great job with this podcast! And he’s just getting started. The conversations are real life and relatable. Glad to hear conversations about how to build momentum to achieve success in our physical and general mental health. Overcoming challenges while at it and how to come back up again. I also like that Steve actually values constructive criticism from his friends and listening and actually acts on it - like when he describes shortening the podcast introduction. I can’t wait to listen and get inspired by more episodes from Momentum!
