    Momming Autism Interview with Christina Abernethy of Love, Hope & Autism

    Welcome to another episode of the Momming Autism podcast! This week we are joined by a fellow advocate, writer and autism mom, Christina Abernethy of Love, Hope & Autism. Christina is a dedicated wife, mother of three, and passionate advocate for people impacted by disabilities. She is the founder of Love, Hope and Autism and is proud to be the coordinator for Changing Spaces Pennsylvania, a movement to build accessible restrooms with powered height adjustable adult sized changing tables across communities to promote inclusion. She is working with legislators to pass a bill in Pennsylvania that would require such facilities in hospitals, airports, museums, rest stops, sports arenas and more. She also works as a Family Support and Community Engagement Specialist at Achieving True Self, supporting families like hers. Christina is committed to spreading a message of heightened awareness and acceptance of differences, ultimately inspiring hope. She is a two-time best selling coauthor, most recently including “You Are Not Alone: Stories, Resources and Hope From Autism Moms;” a book that is filled with inspiring stories, helpful resources, and hope for families to let them know that they are not alone in their journey.     Momming Autism Interview with Colleen Taylor

    Welcome to another episode of the Momming Autism podcast! This week we are joined by Colleen Taylor. Join us as we talk diagnosis, post-partum depression, pandemic blessings, and more. Colleen and her husband have been together since 2103. Their son Brayden was born in 2017, and Jensen in 2019.  Brayden was officially diagnosed in February of 2020. His baby brother is now 19 months, and is still not walking. We don’t have suspicions of autism with Jensen, but every so often I’ll see something that makes me wonder. God gets us through every day, and I don’t think I’d be where I am today without Him.
