The Missing Piece About Personal Finance!

I have always loved personal finance and feel that I am doing pretty good with the basics. I am an avid listener of other financial podcasts, but at a certain point, you tend to know most of the basics. This month I wanted to read more about finances than just listening and I actually stumbled across Jacquette’s book “Financial Intimacy” and absolutely loved it! From her book, my husband and I had an eye-opening experience on our VERY different views on money and it helped us to understand our behaviors and our financial disagreements. However, what intrigued me the most was digging deeper into why I am the way that I am and how my money habits play a role. It doesn't really matter how much you know about finances, it's what you do, and what she emphasizes about your habits and choices. I have always told people personal finance is not as easy as numbers in/numbers out, it’s psychological and emotional. She is one of the few people who has really tapped into behavioral finance and getting to the core of how we handle money! I listened to several of her recent episodes and intend to go thru all of them during the holidays, but I love Jaquette’s approach and it’s truly missing in the finance world! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and your gift, love your work! THANK YOU from both my husband and I! ;)

Next Level Financial Information

This is an excellent podcast, insightful and informative. Jacquette asks and answers all of your secret questions. Listening to "The Price of What's Unfinished" August 26 episode validated my inner drive to get things done and not leave them open/undone/languishing! I'm sharing the Finishing series as gifts!!

Because it's awlays more than money. Must Listen.

So glad I found this podcast. I've always believed money is also behavioral and is more than just about income. Jacquette addresses what few financial podcasts or advisors do, she gets to the root of the problem of our spending. I definitely need this. I have the book knowledge about money and what not to do but I needed someone to help me with the emotional aspects of my spending. Sometimes I spend when I'm bored or trying to fill a void. The tips are great and I love that the podcast is not too long. Subscribe, you won't be disappointed.
