When The Cleats Come Off

As a Dad to a pitcher with D1 aspirations it was great to hear Monica’s recommendation for the amount of pitching to put in to get better. She has a lot more credibility than a Dad.

As a dad of a high school and travel ball player, I enjoy listening to the podcasts. I have been able to gain so much knowledge and understanding about the game of softball. I jokingly tell my daughter’s travel team (where I am an assistant coach and “Dugout Dad”) that I have never played one pitch of fast pitch softball, but this podcast has allowed me to put myself into their shoes and better understand their feelings about the game. It has helped me to be a better dad and coach. Every episode gives me something that I can share with our family and team.

I love listening to Ashley talk about her and her sisters experience thru out their sports careers. As well how things have played out in and out of the sports world in their lives. She brings great perceptive to the table. I think parents who have even more the. One competitive athlete in their home will learn a lot.

…just recently came across this podcast and it’s been a favorite for my daughter and I to listen to. She’s 10 and I’ve been coaching her rec team for a couple seasons now, and I’ve gotta say, this podcast has it all! From advice, guidance, thoughtful discussions, and motivation, my daughter and I enjoy listening and talking about this podcast. We’re going back and starting from the beginning.
