This has got to be the dumbest Holmes adaptation I’ve encountered yet. The characters are cardboard and the writers don’t understand the difference between intellect and education. Halfway through, I started complaining about the poor writing to a friend, and he guessed the big chapter 9 twist AS A JOKE ABOUT THE LAZIEST POSSIBLE WRITING DECISION. This show really adds nothing to the Holmes story. If you want the best Holmes audio, listen to Stephen Fry’s audiobook. If you just like listening to people die violently, listen to Sherlock & Co.
