Moritz Seider and Steve Yzerman not 'terribly far apart' in negotiations

Steve Yzerman met with the media before training camp, and was asked about several topics. But with Moritz Seider's deal still looming, he mentioned he feels they aren't 'terribly far apart'. He also mentions the team will see how it plays out with their roster construction of three goalies and eight defensemen, but we think he is lying through his teeth.
