She talks about the importance of being honest with yourself and breaking the rules. She reflects on creativity as a way to develop tenderness with discomfort & how ease can point out our greatest contribution to the world. She offers heartfelt non-advice recommendations for those wanting to write a book, and speaks of writing as a practice of radical self-acceptance.

    Intuitive Scheduling with Antoinette Beauchamp

    In this episode I speak with Antoinette Beauchamp about Intuitive Scheduling and the ability to trust your inner compass for timing on meetings, launching projects and how to calendar your time in general. She talks about how to avoid burnout by blocking one-hour chunks in your day where you do something that brings you joy, instead of booking in a full day of meetings. She says that everyone is excited about a cancellation, because our lives are too full; therefore, there’s no reason to feel guilty when you cancel a meeting if it’s not the right timing. She talks about understanding the different cycles that you experience during the day, and limiting the number of times you do certain activities, like appointments. She describes the freedom of scheduling 2-hour blocks of what she calls ‘intuitive time’ (minus your phone) that allow for flashes of insight. We also talk about delegating, hiring/firing and the fear of being “too much”.

    Your Symptoms are Your Conflicts: Germanic New Medicine with Dr. Melissa Sell

    In this episode I speak with Dr. Melissa Sell about how your body’s symptoms tell the story of your inner conflicts. She shares Germanic New Medicine as a system of understanding the vast intelligence of the body, and how biological programs trigger in the body as a response to stress, shock and trauma. She describes several examples of symptoms (i.e. joint pain, skin problems, stubborn weight gain) and what inner conflicts would cause those symptoms (i.e. I’m not good enough, feeling attacked, abandonment). She says that the moment that most of us wonder, “What’s wrong with me?” when physical symptoms arise, is when the body is actually in resolution mode. She offers a whole new way of understanding our body and encourages us to tap into our inner wisdom to make choices about our health.
