My goal is to bring issues to the surface that affect EMS providers such as burnout, workplace instability, mental health problems, and the importance of living beyond the job. You can enjoy what you do AND live a fulfilling life. You can be that motivated medic, EMT, nurse, physician, or whatever your career is without throwing out your marriage, family relationships, or your faith. Walk with me and let’s see how you too can make this happen.

Failing Well
On today’s episode, I talk about how to deal with a call where you fell short or if things simply did not go as planned. We all have those calls where we wish we had done things differently or been better at what care we provided. I detail how to tackle these obstacles and how, with the right mindset and discipline, your failures can help you and even others in the future. I hope this meets you where you are at in your career!

Refusal of Care?
Today’s episode is about a recent post by the guys at @PragMed on IG. If you haven’t checked them out, please do so! They post a lot of articles relevant to what we do in EMS/HEMS that affect us so give them a follow. The post originates from an article written in 2020 as an opinion piece as found here. Hope you enjoy it!

This episode is an unscheduled bonus for you today. I was going to wait until next week, but it can't wait. You'll hear why when you listen. This is part of my journey and I am sharing it with you. After all, vulnerability is part of being a Motivated Medic. Special thanks to Daniel Mills for spearheading this.
