Sam Drog ,

Oh so good!

Best movie podcast ever. I have been listening since 2009 and love following the exploits and geeky highs and dorky lows of host Brian and his merry band of revolving characters. The show has a lot of variety from comic convention coverage to shows that dive deep into movie soundtracks to hour long rants about Star Wars. There is always something interesting to listen to and the format changes enough that you don't get sick of a predictable formula. Cast members come and go and then return again which is pretty exciting because it's like saying hey to an old friend you haven't seen in a while. So I can't recommend the show enough. I love it. I think if you give it a chance you will love it too.

It became clear, very quickly, that these individuals are starving for attention.

The good ones stick around!

Movie Meltdown is hands down one of the highest quality movie podcasts I have had the pleasure of finding! I have been listening since 2009 and have gotten behind a few times, but love the show enough to backtrack and listen IN ORDER until I catch up again.

“OK” for mixed for audiences. They delve into some adult themes often, but it never is crass or offensive. I feel very comfortable playing them around youth or family and friends.

They have some AMAZING GUESTS (from very ‘lesser knowns,’ to the likes of Orlando Jones and Joanna Cassidy) and the interviews are always fulfilling and very professionally handled. Many times the guests even review a movie with them.

Now, even though they have been nominated by some podcast awards programs, I am not saying they are Entertainment Weekly or 60 Minutes, but that’s what makes them better. They remind you of what it’s like to sit with friends and bull crap about the latest movies and movie news.

So, if you have thought of taking on a movie podcast you should give these guys a run. Some of you will never put them down.
