    Making Changes: Intimidation to Motivation.

Sara shares with us in this episode the process of shifting, navigating differently in the act of up-levelling. When you know what’s right for you and it’s time to shift to that, it is hard work, but Sara stresses the point that you are NOT starting over which can sound drastic, you are rather Starting AGAIN. You have learned from previous experience, ideas and solutions that you have already created in your life. This can lessen the fear of this new territory - your foundation has been set. Sara talks about moving toward Keynote speaking which she realized was the culmination of all her experiences and her passionately wanting to share what she’s learned with a large audience. This episode is about moving from INTIMIDATION to MOTIVATION. Here are some tips from Sara for those going through this next phase in their journey: Whatever you want to do, you’ve created solutions in the past. Build on what you’ve done that worked before. Find people that can help you and brainstorm with you to create what you want to create. Reverse engineer: See and feel the end-result of what you want. See yourself there already. Then start to take the steps that get you there. Step away, take your time in creating what you are wanting. Patience is key. Website: www.Saraschultingkranz.com Check out the new site! Figuring out your Purpose/Business? Sara Shares Her Journey & Tips

Sara reflects over the last 12 years, finding her purpose and what that looked like over time with many questions, a lot of research, and some self-doubt along the way. Now, her purpose and how that shows up is reflected in a new re-brand, which includes a new website, a new speaker’s reel and much more. (see below for a gift for our listeners). Sara talks to all of her listeners and knows many are going through the creation of a new business and the hard work, exhaustive twists and turns, and questioning that this entails. After her “lifequake” Sara knew she had a lot to share, but it took a bit to figure out how to do that and what they real messaging was. She started with a blog, and her coaching and her love of nature, and it coalesced into her first adventure retreat down the Grand Canyon. Here, she could be in nature, expose others’ to it, and add her knowledge and coaching skills to help people use the experience to build confidence and tools to take their next steps in life. These progressed to more of those and other adventure retreats, plus this podcast, her new site, and knowing she is meant to speak to large groups led to her preparing her Keynote Speaker reel and talks. You can see all of this on her new website and her speakers reel which is on the site and on You Tube. Sara reminds us to start by taking the very first step. Each next step will follow. Here are her tips to begin: Create a vision Find someone to support you Stand up for yourself (Do not pay attention to the naysayers) Remember to Grow Your Gift!! Believe in yourself and what you know you have to offer. See it happening. Go through any days of doubt or darkness and know you will come out of it… and keep moving Forward. Does Your Partner Make You Feel Like You’re Too Much? with Sara & Joe

Do you sometimes feel like you may be “too much” for your partner? Do you sometimes feel like they want you to “dim your light” a bit? Is your confidence lessened from their reaction to you? Sara and Joe talk about how it’s not really ok for someone to not grant you space for all of your amazingness. This can be in a relationship, a friendship, a job- stay aware when others are making you feel like you need to pull back. It’s most times not at all about you- it’s usually something in them that makes them uncomfortable, threatened, takes work on their part. Don’t dim your light. Joe and Sara talk about wanting each to be the best they can be and achieving what they are passionate about. They say that communication is key, always. As Sara pursues her big dreams, including a re-brand of her website, and booked to speak to thousands of people as a Keynote speaker, she has kept Joe as part of the process. He says he so appreciates the constant communication and it keeps him supportive rather than wanting her to be less.. Sara’s advice for you to stay as you need to be: Make a list of the most amazing parts of who you are. As Sara says “I like my loud laugh”, even though it may be too much for someone. Challenge critical thoughts and feedback of others. Don’t accept their thoughts as the only word. They are coming from their own issues. Set boundaries. Do not accept everyone’s feedback. Your boundaries may not make everyone happy. Someone may get upset if you suddenly stop doing everything for them. That’s not on you. That’s potential growth for both of you. Sara and Joe have a definite message: You are perfect as you are. MOVING THROUGH THE FOG (Of Life)

In this episode, Sara talks about being in the Fog vs. Being Stuck. Being Stuck means you cannot even move (yet), but in the Fog means you are not stuck, you are moving, you just may not be sure which direction to go in. Here, she speaks of being in the Fog-finding your direction or your north star. Sara also compares it to her experience, literally being lost in the fog out in the ocean on her paddleboard, and the metaphor of how she found her way back to shore. Many of us would lose it, not being able to see what’s in front of us, or know how to get back “home”. Sara kept her cool, and you will hear what tools (and dolphins) she called upon. Though afraid, she did not let fear immobilize her. She responded, but did not react. She also listened to her intuition. And she asked the universe for help. This event imprinted exactly the tools for when you are feeling lost in the fog in life. Stay level, do not react, be confident, ask for help, listen to your intuition. You will find your way “home” to yourself and to the place you are supposed to be. Here are Sara’s tips for navigating the fog: 1.Pay attention to your surroundings. You are the captain of your own life. If this chapter is not working, start a new one. Look at the people around you and do not hesitate to ask for help. 2.Know your values. Don’t listen to outside noise, listen to yourself. Ask “who am I?” “How do I choose to live?” And these inner knowings will help guide you. Trusting the Process with Sara

We often wonder why something’s not happening fast enough - it can feel painstakingly slow if it’s something we desperately want to happen, or if we are stuck in a situation we don’t want to be in. Either way, we want something to happen so badly, the waiting feels like an unending sentence of torture. Sara shares her realization from where she is now, that every single unfolding is for our highest good. She says that where she is today, if she’d known it would finally turn out well, she could have saved herself from a lot of anxiety back then. If you are longing for a baby, want out of a relationship, need to move, wanting a new job, know it will happen in the perfect timing. Trust the Universe and also it’s important to trust and believe in “Your Team.” You need to be lifted up and get what you need during the waiting and beyond. You definitely don’t need people around you that are creating more chaos. Sara also sees that holding on so tight to what she was so impatient to happen, really was stopping it from happening. Be the person you want to be, allow the process to unfurl at the Universe’s best timing and always make sure you are the first most important person to be on your own team. Always remember: The Universe has my back as well as the back of my Team. I trust the Universe. Friendships: When do you know Enough is Enough?

In this episode Sara talks about our friendships - how they morph and change, how some friends are for a certain time frame, and how as you change (or they change) sometimes the friendship isn’t working. Sara asks Are You Happy? Take a look at the people around you. She also shares with us Joe’s quote: “Be the partner that you want.” Also, as Sara says, be the best friend to yourself first. Sometimes you have that friend that you’ve loved but suddenly you are more aware of how much chaos surrounds them and your friendship. Maybe you have gotten to a place where that isn’t making you happy- maybe even making you anxious. It’s hard to break off a friendship that’s meant a lot to you over time-but as Sara says- sometimes you have to think of yourself first. When you become aware of toxicity and negativity - It’s time to move on. She acknowledges that her friend group has gotten smaller, but she’s gotten happier. Here are some of her non-negotiables in staying or being friends with someone: Do not accept gossip. If your friend is gossiping to you about others, you can be sure they are gossiping about you, too. Will not be friends with someone that is friends with your enemies. It’s fine, if they want to be friends with that person, but you don’t have to stay friends with them. It probably says something about them. Sara says she will always be kind to people, but not good friends. Watch how your friends treat others. And how they let others treat them. They need to be kind and respectful to others. These are basic qualities that your best friends need to have. Navigating friendships comes with ups and downs for sure, but when the relationship is no longer working for you, do not feel guilty when you need to break it off. You will be happier. Moving? Things to consider & get you sanely from point A to B.

Moving is on the list of highest stressors – and not just for the logistical nightmare that can ensue. Often there are a lot of emotions surrounding a change: marriage, divorce, new job, having to be near a place or people. And sometimes, we just stop and ask ourselves if we are truly happy where we live right now, even if making a move can be life changing. Sara is on the cusp of moving. She still hasn’t figured out exactly where, but she had a realization that she’s moved a lot- five times just in California. Most importantly, she realized she’s never moved to a place she has chosen; it’s always been for someone else’s job or where they wanted to move. This time, she is definitely going to choose consciously where she wants to be. With that comes deciding where to, then how to up and move from a place you have gotten used to and comfortable in. As Sara’s mom used to tell her, it’s really what you bring to the home, and you, Sara, always make the place you are home. All true, and Sara’s acclimated and gotten to love California and living by the beach, though she never wanted to move here. But now, she thinks she may be ready for mountains. She grew up in Wisconsin and lived 20 years in California. It may be time to be in the mountains she loves so much. So with this potentially in front of her, she started to think about all the things that make us depressed, anxious, etc with moving. She wants to flip that to excitement and looking to a new adventure. Here she shares some tips of things she’s figured out. If it’s your choice to move, first you can make a list of what brings you joy, what keeps you grounded and see what/where comes up. For everyone moving, by choice or necessity, here are some points to keep in mind: Embrace the adventure of the move. You are about to make your circle wider and see and learn new things. Get into a routine similar to what you had in your last place. If you ran every morning, do that as soon as you can in your new area. Get to know your area. If you have kids, enroll them in things you can do together and both of you can meet new friends. Stay connected with family and friends from where you left. At the same time, meet new people in your new area. Acknowledge your emotions along the way. Feel what you feel. All feelings will shift and change at varying times. And remember: Moving doesn’t have to suck. It can also be fun and exciting during and/or once you get to your new destination. Happiness: Why Doing the Work Can Pay Off with Sara & Joe

Sara and Joe talk about Happiness, each of their separate journey’s and now their time together. They talk about mid-life for men and Joe recounts steps he’s taken to achieve the life he knew he wanted for the second part of his life. For Sara and Joe, they were both immersed in a lot of deep reflective work before they reconnected. They each had looked at what wasn’t working for them, what they definitely wanted and didn’t want for the future, faced issues head on, delved into writings and teachings of those that helped to name it, change it and ultimately manifest it. The hard work has paid off for each of them. They found each other again after 30 years. They communicate now on a different level than they had with previous significant others, and are clear on what their priorities are. They can now approach life with more mature and wise emotional tools- and love. Sara shares 6 reasons for why doing the hard work is more than worthwhile: 1 We will all go through transitions and change. Doing the work helps these changes to flow more easily. 2 It helps you address unresolved issues from family, business, generational. By working on these, we release sabotaging ourselves and holding ourselves back from the most beautiful life. 3 Reclaim your own authenticity. Define what you really like, want, who you truly are. You can find and define real happiness and joy and go for that. 4 Physical, mental, emotional, spiritual health. We inherently want to grow. Not doing the work stagnates us. 5 It helps our own relationship with our internal self and can improve our relationships with others around us in work, family, relationships, 6 It helps you redefine success and purpose and what they truly mean to you now. Sara and Joe both individually were on a path of doing the work, both wanting to put in the time to assure their brightest future happiness. When they met up again after a long time, they were equally ready for their new lives – and are creating the life they worked on having.
