Ep. 60 - The Final Episode

And so we conclude My Dining Room Table. Will I randomly put out an episode when I feel like it, when I have a really good interview to share with the world? Perhaps. Will I do this podcast live at festivals if asked? Probably. Those are fun. But for now, and most likely, forever, this is the last episode of My Dining Room Table, live from the High Plains Comedy Festival. Thanks for listening, everyone. It really has meant a lot to me.

And so it has come to this. I'll be taking the summer off of podcasting to focus full time on the production of Those Who Can't. But fear not! New episodes will resume in August/September of 2015. So come back around! In the meantime, have the best summer ever and KIT!

    Ep. 58 - Noah Gardenswartz

Denver-raised, but groomed by comedy in the amazing scenes of Atlanta and New York, Noah Gardenswartz is a gentle giant with a furious wit. He's also a deeply profound and thoughtful dude. One of my favorite episodes in awhile. Enjoy.

    Ep. 57 - Kevin O'Brien

Kevin O'Brien - ole Kev! - finally takes a seat at the table to pontificate on growing up Cornhusker, college radio and how weird it is when you realize you and your f**k up friends were maybe actually the ones who had it all figured out.

TJ Miller episode was 1 of my favorite podcasts ever.

If you love deep emotional conversation about life & death, listen to the ep where Adam had TJ on. Adam was strong in discussing the death of his sister, and it was a touching conversation to hear. All around amazing podcast.

The Greg Baumhauer episode was bomb.

No joke, we were on a road trip and I had loaded up on Serial, This American Life, and Quirks and Quarks. After finishing those, I was like, "I'm from Denver, maybe this could be enjoyable." And, my god, Greg is an enigma. I want the guy to narrate my life. It made me homesick for Denver and vividly recall my countless sloppy nights at the Squire.

Of course, if you have zero familiarity with Denver - especially Denver comedy - this podcast will be boring. But the Grawlix dudes talking about Heelies and Winnie Cooper made me laugh so hard I woke up a sleeping baby. Totally worth it.
