Before SUR ruled West Hollywood another sassy, unique restaurant made a splash on reality TV. Saddle Ranch aired on VH1 for one season in 2011, and almost starred our host, Christy Olson.

The behind the bar chaos rivaled what you would see on Bravo TV's Vanderpump Rules. But Christy’s experience filming the pilot of Saddle Ranch was more like Survivor than Scandoval.

This is the very L.A. story of how she went from executive assistant at E! to slingin’ big blue drinks in front of the camera, and learned a painful lesson about what it would take to make her dreams come true.
