My Year With Dolly

I adore this podcast. I know I’m late to the game, but it is timeless & Justin’s manner is so calming, funny & entertaining. This podcast literally lowers my BP! & I learned a lot, so far! I’m only to 1980. I hope Justin undergoes another giant endeavor like this one bc I will miss him when I complete this podcast☹️ Thank you for your honesty & candor & sweet, soothing voice❣️

This podcast gets better and better. I love Justin’s style and voice, and his appreciation and knowledge of a subject I thought I knew about but apparently did not! This is such a sweet experience.

I just started listening to this podcast a week or so ago and that is why I said I am late to the “Parton”. I have always been a fan of Dolly as a performer and as a woman and as a role model but I will admit I never listened to her music a lot. I just knew the big songs; and yes I knew she wrote and performed “I Will Always Love You” before Whitney Houston ever sang it. This podcast has shown me so much more of her talent. When Justin talks about songs off a the album I go and I listen to those songs I am just blown away. She has so much talent and range and voice! I am so glad I found this podcast

I’m a total fan of this podcast I’m in my mid 50’s and a African American woman who grew up in the time when tv went off at midnight. So on Saturday I watched a lot of Hee Haw and the Grand Ole Opera so I know a lot of Country Music and I love Dolly and old country music, thing is country music and R&B music both tell a story so this podcast reminds me of childhood 🥰 I found it from the podcast Only The Rich and know I’m binge listening to My Year With Dolly.
