Edward Knippers holds an MFA from the University of Tennessee and has worked in the studios of Zao Wou-ki, S. W. Hayter, and Otto Eglau. He has also studied at the Sorbonne, Paris (language) and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. His work has been shown extensively thoughout the U. S. and abroad including the L A County Museum, Cheekwood, Nashville, the University of Oklahoma, Catholic University of America, Washington, DC., The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Richmond, Palazzo dei Setta, Orvieto, Italy and the Vatican Museum, Rome.
