Directed by Harold Ramis and written by John Hughes, the movie stars Chevy Chase as Clark Griswold, Beverly D'Angelo as Ellen Griswold, daughter Audrey (Dana Barron), son Rusty (Anthony Michael Hall), Randy Quaid as Cousin Eddie, and John Candy. The film follows the misadventures of the Griswold family as they embark on a cross-country road trip to the fictional amusement park called "Walley World."
