Traci, since I heard you read the comments, I couldn’t resist! I love the show! I’m not even sure how I accidentally stumbled upon it (I actually listen on Spotify) but it’s become one of my favorites. The topics are interesting and insightful. Just the right balance of humor and seriousness. Please keep ‘em coming. Gives this Louisiana girl something to look forward to. Delightful. :)

I had the opportunity to listen to Traci during a virtual fraud seminar. This podcast has become my new favorite ear (and mind) candy for my daily commute!
I like the podcast, however

One of the recent episodes regarding student loan debt etc, Traci says something in the beginning pertaining to loan forgiveness and how she doesn’t agree with that approach and her assistant interjected with something along the lines of “an 18 year old isn’t equipped to make those decisions” in which she replies something about the fact it then falls on the parents then. Well I fit in to this category but I would like to point out that my parents didn’t have anything to do with my education post high school and I certainly never received and financial advice from them regarding it. It was take the loans, not knowing really what I was getting into, or just not go to college. Those were the choices. Not everybody has the luxury of having their parents help or having that even be an option let alone financially but even just for advice. Years Later I find out that I was charged For out of state tuition for a community college that ended up costing me as much as it would if I went to a four year school and so here I am, forty years old, still have debt garnishing my tax refunds with associates degree in sociology, which is basically useless, because the internet or computers weren’t prevalent yet when I went to school and needless to say I would have chosen another major had I known what was to come in the very near future as far as the internet goes.
