I am a big fan of the show but why are there routinely commercials 90 seconds into the episode?

Love the pod and love sheil, but echo most commenters below in saying that the format for this season is a major step down. I loved when this podcast was my 2-3x/week listen to recap the week for the full league and preview the next - I’m much less interested in these 30 min shows on specific topics…I find myself usually skipping over them in my feed. If they are an add-on to the standard ~2 longer pods a week then fine, but please don’t let this be the only offering. As sheil has said many times, a great pod is like having a group of friends you’re excited to hang out with on each episode…with the new format, the lack of a recurring 2-3 guests in addition to sheil makes it tough to build the chemistry the audience wants.

Mixed on the new format. I’m really missing the weekly deep diving substance with Sheil Steven and Diante long-format pod going game by game. They had great analysis and great chemistry. The daily topics are fun but now we lack depth. Suggest bringing that back on Sunday/Monday and can keep the brief daily show for rest of the week.

Gotta be honest this new format is terrible. Love the show and will listen to anything Sheil does, but basically just 20 mins on the week 2 games is a disgrace. Can we spend like 5-10 mins on the prime time game and move on to the other slate? The prime time games already get so much coverage. We don’t need 3 podcasts a week dedicated to going over them again.
