Puck Soup
We're Sean "Down Goes Brown" McIndoe of The Athletic and Ryan Lambert of EP Rinkside and this is a hockey podcast, in the sense that we talk about hockey, both on the ice and about fan culture. That’s the “puck.” This is also a podcast about movies, TV, fast food, life lessons and general idiocy. That’s the “soup.” Unless you ordered the minestrone.

When the guy you suffer through so you can listen to the guy you like says gems like, “perception is reality” is it time to mash the unsubscribe button? Now the guy you suffer through can’t stop saying, “you know what I mean?” Dude your thought are not so profound that they can’t be followed. Can’t take it anymore. I’ll just listen to the guy I want to on The Athletic pod. Be good gents, you know what I mean?

These guys used to be so fun and so smart and well-respected. Watching their descent into the most miserable journalists in the business has been heart breaking. I don’t understand why anyone would waste their time with this show when there’s 100 other podcasts by people that actually enjoy the sport.

Been listening since the start, through all the ebbs and flows and host changes. Always good for a laugh and some hockey news. The recent theme music change has absolutely shaken me to my core, but the new one is a banger.
Good mix of serious and silly. Lambert and McIndoe make Wysh palatable.

Ryan and Sean are the best. New music intro is VERY appreciated. Love the hockey trivia games they play. Better than the HHOF for sure. Good rooting interest contrasts to NHL developments as Sean is TOR/Canada, Ryan is BOS/college hockey and Greg is NJD/US national headline flavor of the month.
