As a Black American woman who travels a lot both internationally and domestically, I enjoy helping people be as prepared as they possibly can be before they go on a trip. Time off is precious and I know that planning for it can be overwhelming. I have visited 38 states and more than 70 countries. I'm an expert at planning the wrong way and I am passionate about sharing what I've learned so that you can make the most out of your travel experiences! Whether it's what to pack, where to go, what to do, or who to do it with, I am eager to talk about it!

How I Deal With Racism When I Travel
As a Black woman, I know that there are people who feel that I should not be visiting their city, state, or country. It can be difficult when people are rude and say mean things to me. Fortunately, this is not common. Unfortunately, it is something I have had to deal with for my entire life. I am thankful that my experiences visiting places near and far are usually very positive! I make sure that I feel as safe as I can and that I do a little bit of research before I go. There is no way to promise that a racist experience won't happen in the future. I just do my best to enjoy my travels and not let the terrible actions of a few ruin my opportunities to explore the world!
