Great perspective!
It’s only been 2 episodes and I can tell how valuable Claire’s perspective is on events. As someone who also came from the live tv world, she is pointing out some of the same observations I have had, she does a much better job of articulating them though.
In the Hive mentality episode, Claire points out something that should be obvious to us event profs, but it really isn’t. Your suppliers have supplied hundreds of events. Maybe thousands. They have such valuable input if you’re willing to ask and listen!
I have connected with more event vendors (of all sorts) via my balloon gal then I have just researching and cold calling. Suppliers have so many relationships we would be silly not to use them.
I have also relied on my auctioneer to help plan the flow of an entire event program, not just the auction. He has seen it all so he knows what works!
