-----
In this special episode, Lavetta and Miriam talk with guest Annie Korzen (American, born 1938) about her life as a nonagenarian artist, who writes, acts, performs, and most recently, plays her lead role as a Tiktok influencer. Korzen relays her start in New York, from studying with acting teacher Stella Adler to her memorable recurring role as Doris Klompus in Seinfeld, the American television sitcom, "a show about nothing," created by Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld. For decades, Korzen maintained a prolific acting and writing career, but it was in 2021 when she joined Tiktok, that she became an overnight sensation and has continued her impact among young people and people from all walks of life looking for role models. High on Korzen's list is the power of saying no, embracing intergenerational relationships, and overcoming societal limitations. Lastly, Korzen gives a sneak peak at her new book, a collection of humorous essays and observations.
