Excellent collection of classic bossa nova

Glad to have found this podcast of a SF based DJ’s personal vinyl collection. Writing this review in Feb 2023 and hoping he’s got other podcasts with Brazilian music out there. This is the GOOD classic stuff. I also love hearing the soft tickle scratch of the vinyl recording following the end of songs. Muito legal!

I have been a fan of Brazilian music for over 45 years but only cracked the surface with all the usual Jobim,Gilberto,Airto,Purim,Mendes. In every episode a wealth of new music to my old ears.

A well curated, meticulously selected collection of rare Brazilian jazz grooves; a masterclass so fluid as to seem effortless.. can’t tell you the amount of music I’ve discovered over the years. Highly recommended if you’re a music lover!
