The San Francisco Experience
We are a "deep dive" news podcast, for Americans who get their news from the Internet. Our mission is to give the listener succinct, fact based analysis both non-ideological and independent from a California, Silicon Valley perspective. Your host Jim Herlihy is a published author: his novel “Deceit and Dirty Money” is available on line. He served as President of the SF Public Library Commission 1992 - 1996. While working in Latin America, he was a stringer for The Economist, The Times and the BBC. Jim serves as a director on two SF sister city boards : Bangalore, India and Cork, Ireland.

Review of San Francisco Experience

The San Francisco Experience is my favorite podcast of all time. Why you ask? The guests Mr. Herlihy interviews dive into current topics to historical and everything in between. To name a few of the subjects Jim exposes in his interviews: international, national, film and book reviews, politics, business and personalities. You never know which direction the podcasts will go into. Jim has done over 500 podcasts and I enjoy listening to several time and again. I must say Jim does his homework on his subjects and topics. Personally, I have a favorite or two: one being 160 Years of Community, The story of St. Teresa of Avila, Bodega and review of Alfred Hitchcock’s 1962 thriller, The Birds. If I could I would give The San Francisco Experience podcast a 10 Stars.
