    A rambly albeit helpful exploration of (1) why the luteal phase can feel rough AF, and (2) practical AND a lil more woo-woo ways that we can support ourselves to have the a more smooth, manageable premenstrual phase.

    I emphasise the importance of working with these 5 categories: Nutrition, Movement, Sleep, Light, Nervous System Regulation - because if there are any imbalances here, they're likely to impact your premenstrual vibe greatly. Work on these foundations first because seeking any "cure-all" or magic fixes for your PMS struggles.

    Probably my most vulnerable episode so far, I take you behind the scenes of a raw emotional release from the start of my last menstrual cycle that I video-recorded.

    A bit more of a personal share for this ep, about some "ouch" thoughts & feels that rose to the surface recently in regards to my relationship with the Pill (aka oral hormonal contraception).

    In a world in which we're so disconnected from our Rites of Passage as females (birth, menarche, pregnancy, menopause, death), little teenage Karinda was looking for meaning & womanly "worthiness" in a pharmaceutical drug that shut off her menstrual cycles & hormone production. How ironic that in looking to feel like more of a woman, I was shutting off the precise biology that is the source of my feminine power.

    In this share, I'm processing some of my grief for this past self & debunking the "logic" of putting a whole generation of girls onto synthetic hormones.
