We all would like to think that we're immune to being persuaded, but were that true, advertising wouldn't work, the best candidates would always get elected, and our personal relationships would always be equitable.
On Belief examines why, with so much information available to us to dissuade us from joining harmful groups. I ask people who have had first hand experience with harmful groups and sects how they were seduced, how they were tricked, and how they got out.

HowlStarryDynamo ,

It is...

Highly odd to hear this Bernie Sanders cultist purporting to be an expert on why people join cults.

ineffable choices ,

Weird 20 minute ads for itself

20 minutes and then and a jarring “give me money on Patreon”. This is and interesting podcast and I would likely support the podcast if the content wasn’t split up like this. Of the dozens of podcasts I’ve listened to and supported, none have this method of money making. Good luck, but I won’t be supporting this cast.

Rip off

You get 20 minutes & then you have to pay $5?!? Ridiculous. I pay and support podcasts that I love. I’m not paying for a podcast after only 20 minutes!
