Hosts Amanda Freitag and Daniel Holzman are on the West Coast and welcome their friend and fellow Chopped judge Chris Santos to On the Line. Chef Santos began his career washing dishes at a small Rhode Island restaurant before pursuing cooking as a career, and is the founder of the restaurants Beauty & Essex and The Stanton Social, both on the Lower East Side in New York City. We caught up with Chris and talked about his younger chef days and his current life, working with the band Metallica on their whiskey brand, starting a heavy metal record label, and much more!
