Spelling and Grammar Issues
13/08/2010
The show is OK, if not a little annoyingly simplistic, but what prompted me to post a negative review is this podcasters inability to spell or use the English language in his descriptions. It is unacceptable even for amateur podcasters not to proof-read their descriptions, particularly if you want people to take you seriously. Consider: "If you are like me, you never loose site of ......" Why is it that most Americans do not know the difference between "lose" and "loose?" The correct use here would have been "lose" (e.g. I should not lose my iPad) because "loose" simply means something is not fixed (i.e. My iPad cable is loose). As for the next one, it should be "sight" and not "site." Hence: "If you are like me, you never lose sight of ......" It is import that you present your best face to the world, if people are to take you seriously, and these types of errors do not help at all.
Really?

Imagine a podcast about HDTVs. "Having trouble hearing what's happening on your television? Why, try looking at your remote control, and pressing the 'volume up' button. If this doesn't work, try pressing the button again, and repeat as necessary!" This podcast might be hugely helpful for anyone who's never interacted with an electronic device before. Everyone else, you already know everything they're telling you.
More meat needed

Excellent idea, but much more content is needed. I am sure many people would love to have the podcast published more frequently. You have a good idea, I hope you can build on it.
