"The Vast of Night" is a terrifically entertaining Sci-Fi thriller about a small town in 1950s New Mexico that is beset by a strange sound on the radio. We interviewed producer Melissa Kirkendall about working with first-time director Andrew Patterson, filming in a real small town with local actors, and how filmmakers are coping with the shutdown.

Best Podcast for Independent Films

This is my favorite movie podcast. I went back and listened to a lot of the old episodes because it’s one of the few places that you can listen to intelligent discussions of smaller movies. It’s become essential listening for me every week.

Great stuff

Awesome podcast. Great hosts and an inside look to what films you should check out besides the tentpole releases. True coverage of cinema that needs a spotlight. Highly recommend.

great new show

I listen to a lot of film related podcasts. Most of them only cover the biggest releases of the week so it's nice to have someone come along and look at the smaller films. The podcast is well produced and I've learned about a lot of films that I've added to my list of films to see for the year. I highly recommend giving it a listen!
