The Browns reached their bye week, losing to the Ravens 28-3 on Sunday, falling to 2-2 and with some things they need to work on this week.
Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe start off Wednesday's Orange and Brown Talk Podcast by looking at what the Browns should focus on this week with the players away and an opportunity to hit the reset on some things. They each offer up one thing they think they should focus on and work on getting corrected.
Then Lance Reisland joins the show to talk about what he saw when he watched the tape from Sunday's loss to Baltimore. He talks about how the Ravens attacked the Browns defense, why the Browns were unable to run the ball and the play of rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson.

Do the Browns need to re-evaluate the backup quarterback position? Hey, Mary Kay!
The Browns are heading into their bye week not feeling great, having lost to the Ravens 28-3. Still, the bye week hits at the right time as they need to get their starting quarterback and some other key players healthy.
They start Tuesday's Hey, Mary Kay! edition of the Orange and Brown Talk Podcast by answering a question about the backup quarterback position and if the Browns made the right call when they traded Joshua Dobbs and where they go from here. They also discuss what happened with Deshaun Watson pregame and why there was a disconnect between whether he would or wouldn't play.
Then they answer questions about the defense, Elijah Moore and the success of kicker Dustin Hopkins.

What happened with Deshaun Watson and the defense: Browns postgame podcast
The Browns fell to the Ravens, 28-3, on Sunday at Cleveland Browns Stadium, but the real story happened before the game when Deshaun Watson, who was expected to play, tested out his sore right shoulder and was unable to give it a go. Instead, Dorian Thompson-Robinson started the game.
Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe start their postgame podcast by discussing what happened with Watson and why there was such a disconnect between what was going on during the week and what people were saying.
They also talk Thompson-Robinson and if the Browns put too much on his plate expecting him to be the backup.
They get into the defense, which played its worst game of the season, and wonder if Lamar Jackson exposed them.
Lastly, they offer up their final thoughts from the game.

Deshaun Watson didn’t throw Wednesday; should we be concerned?
Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson didn't throw during the open portion of practice on Wednesday and was listed as limited on the practice report with a right shoulder. The injury is not expected to keep him out of Sunday's game, but is this something to be concerned about heading into the game?
Mary Kay Cabot and Dan Labbe discuss Watson on Thursday's Orange and Brown Talk Podcast. How could it impact the offense if it is something lingering? Is there a chance this is just a one-off and it's nothing to give a second thought?
Then they discuss the injury issues the Ravens are dealing with and what it would mean for them to have a couple key offensive linemen back and how the Browns can attack them.
Lastly, they discuss some of the Browns playmakers and who has and still needs to step up.

Clean up English !!
It’s starting to pain me to hear how often Ashley says “like” and “obliviously”. If its obvious, I don’t need to hear it from a spirts pundit, and there is nothing to LIKE about hearing “like” every third word. Learn from MYC, she’s a pro’s pro !!!
Mary Kay 🤷♂️
MK has more excuses for DW then DW has massage therapists ! She believes that once DeShawn starts playing the teams in the south division, and the weather is better that he’ll himself get better WHAT ?? He’s not used to playing better quarterbacks like they have in the AFC North ? He lost to Kenny Pickett ! I am now positive the Cleveland Browns pay half of Mary Kay’s salary. I’ve enjoyed her for a lot of years, but she’s losing credibility.
Its hard to listen
Both Dan and Ashley use the verbal tik “like” incessantly, so much so that I can’t listen very long. If you wrote in the same verbiage that you speak you would not be published. This is the reason I can’t bring myself to subscribe. You are both bright and insightful and this is correctable, I encourage you to try… Please!
